It made me think of a time when I was told one time, " you cannot possibly hear the Lord talking to you if you are always trying to do the talking yourself." I can spend so many hours reading and reading about the world events when in reality I need to spend more time reading what our Lord wants us to know about him and what he wants so badly for us. His love is ever lasting and always there no matter what. I just need to pray and practice listening . Thank you for sharing with us to take the time to listen to our Lords words . What amazes me is even though we do continue to backslide, our Lord will still forgive us, love us and want only the best for us.
